Plans.

I think I have plans to do this all day. And then tonight? Homemade pizza night with the girls. Perfect day. Art classes start next week!

Well...duh

So Tim and I finally activated our Xbox Live account and started streaming Hulu. I know, I know. I'm late. However, it's my new favorite thing. I might be 100% worthless from here on out. Good news, by the way. I got a job teaching elementary art classes for the rest of the summer. I'm pretty pumped.

Twinkle Toes

This is what we did over the break. Tim had his toes fixed.

It was quite the experience and, if I may, test of my love for him. No worries. I passed. :)

Whitney Time

Tim has been gone 4 days. In that time, I've unashamedly watched 6 chick flicks. Loved. Every. Minute.

Truth is an Arrow...

I know. It's been a while. Quick catch up and then on to more important stuff. We're now in Raleigh, NC playing for the Carolina Mudcats which is an affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. Ok. More on that when I have time to write. For now, let's remember what I consider to be some of (if not THE) best "Christian music" to ever be recorded. I couldn't find a recording of him singing it on YouTube- only covers and those would never do it justice -so here are the words. Buy it on iTunes. It's more than worth it. Written by (in my opinion) one of the greatest musicians of all times...Bob Dylan. Such a powerful song.

When He Returns

The iron hand it ain’t no match for the iron rod
The strongest wall will crumble and fall to a mighty God
For all those who have eyes and all those who have ears
It is only He who can reduce me to tears
Don’t you cry and don’t you die and don’t you burn
For like a thief in the night, He’ll replace wrong with right
When He returns

Truth is an arrow and the gate is narrow that it passes through
He unleashed His power at an unknown hour that no one knew
How long can I listen to the lies of prejudice?
How long can I stay drunk on fear out in the wilderness?
Can I cast it aside, all this loyalty and this pride?
Will I ever learn that there’ll be no peace, that the war won’t cease
Until He returns?

Surrender your crown on this blood-stained ground, take off your mask
He sees your deeds, He knows your needs even before you ask
How long can you falsify and deny what is real?
How long can you hate yourself for the weakness you conceal?
Of every earthly plan that be known to man, He is unconcerned
He’s got plans of His own to set up His throne
When He returns
